近年許多科技大廠著手佈局自動駕駛領域，相信不久的將來全球將普遍放行無人車上路，但要做到零事故的無人自動駕駛系統，仍有許多技術面需要克服，未來相關人才培訓也將成為重要一環。TIRT無人車競賽承接人才培訓之目的，選用視覺感測器辨識賽道使車子順利行駛，並於賽道中增加障礙物與關卡，考驗參賽學生對障礙物與關卡的識別與應對能力，讓參賽學生從中了解無人車運作原理，學習技術應用，更為未來產業鏈結做好準備!
