本競賽秉承 STEAM(科學、技術、工程、藝術和數學)精神,旨在鼓勵學生使用數位化科學軟體及器材,以強化數位融入科學探究,藉此提升學生於科學實驗中之數位能力及科學探究之多樣性,進而提升參與之興趣。競賽重點在於如何使用數位工具或程式於科學實驗中,進而提取數據並分析,最後結合科學理論給予報告。主辦單位於競賽官網提供組裝式積木的組裝方式及賽題的科學原理,讓學子提前準備,於競賽現場以有限的時間、器材、 軟體程式等,由學生發揮想像力及創造力設計科學實驗以獲得所需的物理量,後續進行簡報評分競賽。
This competition upholds the spirit of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and aims to encourage students to use digital scientific software and equipment to enhance the integration of digital tools into scientific inquiry. Through this, the goal is to improve students' digital capabilities in scientific experiments and promote diversity in scientific exploration, thereby increasing their interest and participation.
The focus of the competition is on how to utilize digital tools or programming within scientific experiments to collect and analyze data, and ultimately integrate scientific theories into a final report. The organizers provide on the official competition website both the assembly methods for modular building blocks and the scientific principles behind the competition topics. This allows students to prepare in advance. At the competition venue, within a limited timeframe and using provided materials, equipment, and software, students are expected to apply their imagination and creativity to design scientific experiments to obtain the required physical quantities, followed by a presentation for scoring and evaluation.
